Snowy Sight and Crow Commotion

I loved this image and the close-up below -- the soft overlapping whiteness and the pale blue.





I noticed some crows out on the frozen edge of our lake. One crow apparently wanted to approach to drink but it was chased away by some others. It flew over to Duckie Beach instead and drank from there.

Yes, they seem to squabble regularly. This is the first time I've managed to catch them in a clear cause and effect.

Now that is some beautiful winter scenery. We haven't had much snow this year, which makes getting around easier, but it also doesn't quite feel like winter. Love these photos!

It's been the same here -- this is the only significant snow we've had, and even so it was gone in 24 hours!
