Spring Snow on Redbud

Most of the central US has had a late snowstorm. I'm in eastern Kansas, and this redbud tree stands outside my kitchen window.

We had snow all day too! It was mostly to light to stick to the ground, so I didn't see it gathered on any trees. But there might be ice tomorrow morning.

That shot so beautifully shows one season *trying* to ease into the next. I have a redbud tree outside my front door, and it's the loveliest thing in my yard.
