Came out to get the catfood, or just to shelter from the chilly night.

Oh gosh, such a little one. We are at one end of their range, though there seem to be more of them lately. We had two about that size eating from the bird feeder on a couple of bitter, bitter days. I added some cat food for them, since they looked so pathetic with bird seed stuck to their noses. They left once it had warmed up and didn't return.

But they ran up trees and wound their tails around branches so that I had a really vivid idea of what "prehensile" means.
