Winter Ice and Sunset
Jan. 9th, 2022 08:27 pmIt's been very cold here the past few days and the lake froze over on Wednesday. Friday morning it was covered in the nonpareil pieces of ice look, which I really like because it makes the lake sparkle. You can see glints of this in the top photo but it's brighter than it looks.
There were 3 ducks huddled around the aerator, and they spent the day either on the edge or swimming around in it -- trying to find food, I imagine.
I just liked the way the clouds drew a straight line across the sky at sunset.
