blackcap in spring

Warblers are almost impossible to see and even more impossible to photograph, but this afternoon I managed to not only spot, but also to take a couple of photos of, a male Blackcap (Sylvia atricapilla) high up in a birch.

We had a garden warbler in on our feeders yesterday but no chance of a pic so well done for getting one! :)
