I took some pictures today, and I managed to get some of a tree frog.

This bush is blooming for the first time in the forest garden. I'm not sure what it is -- possibly some sort of viburnum.

I spotted this tree frog when he jumped off the wall of the house to land on a tiki torch stake. Of the various tree frogs in Illinois, this is probably a gray tree frog, although he's actually gray-green. I'm so excited! :D 3q3q3q!!! Last year I saw more tree frogs in my yard than I had in all the previous years. I didn't know it was a fluke. Now I've seen two gray ones, yesterday and today, in different places. That bodes well for tree frogs having established themselves in my yard. Yay!

I like the idea of establishing tiny gardens. And a tree frog sighting, how lovely!

RE: the tulips, we're past most of the blooms here too, at least from the bulbs and trees. Things are shifting from multicolors to green. I'm looking forward to seeing annuals filling flower beds though 🙂 So far there have been few planted in the neighborhood.
