I took some pictures today, and I managed to get some of a tree frog.
This is the view of the house yard looking east.

Here is a closeup of the barrel garden.

This is the last of the tulips blooming by the barrel garden. Most of them are done.

The flower in the middle is lantana. To the left is a volunteer violet. Marigolds and morning glories are sprouting.

The hanging basket has morning glories and weeds.

This is the rain garden.

Columbine is blooming.

This is the goddess garden. Mother-of-thyme is growing around the statue.

Lily-of-the-valley is blooming along the north side of the house.

This bush is blooming for the first time in the forest garden. I'm not sure what it is -- possibly some sort of viburnum.

Here is a closeup of the flowers.

Yellow bellwort has grown into a large clump.

Alliums are blooming in the purple-and-white garden. The dark purple fringed tulips are almost done. Peonies have buds.

I spotted this tree frog when he jumped off the wall of the house to land on a tiki torch stake. Of the various tree frogs in Illinois, this is probably a gray tree frog, although he's actually gray-green. I'm so excited! :D 3q3q3q!!! Last year I saw more tree frogs in my yard than I had in all the previous years. I didn't know it was a fluke. Now I've seen two gray ones, yesterday and today, in different places. That bodes well for tree frogs having established themselves in my yard. Yay!

Here is a back view of the tree frog.
