A walk in the fields
May. 20th, 2022 04:06 pmWe headed out over in the direction of the villages of Wroxeter, Charlton and Uppington:

A fine piece of fungus-y wood on someone's front:

The Wrekin in sleeping dragon mode:

And we struck off down a bridle path into the fields. For those of you who don't know the term, a bridle path is a track that's okay to ride horses on:

The Wrekin again :

Across a field of young barley and yes, there was a proper path:

A green sea of young wheat:

Buttercups abound:

I always feel sad to see elm skeletons but am glad of the reminder all the same:

Young wheat which will be gold in a while longer:

Holy Trinity Church, Uppington from the surrounding fields:
