Backyard Goldfish

I haven't seen art posted here, but oddly I found it easier to capture these with a paintbrush than with a camera. They're in the yard at my friend's house, in her little pond, and the canvases are tiny -- just 4" square. I set up my field kit and used oil paints, which are great for these soft, fleeing effects.

These are spectacular--you mentioned you paint professionally--do you sell things like this?

Yep! In fact, these -- as many of them as I can make -- are going into a couple of Holiday Sale events in my area, next month.

Which hasn't stopped me from putting a few of them up on my blog and my Etsy shop, because, well ... I can make more, right? :-D
