Tiny Landscape

I promise there will be more Goldfish, but figured meanwhile I'd share the little 5 x 7" landscape I did the other day, outdoors.



When it was done I just set it down on the ground to take a photo. I liked the mulch texture, you know? 

Usually in this spot, I pretend the city isn't there, but this time I figured I'd try painting it in.

So what is your verdict on including the cityscape in the landscape? I think you did a lovely job, but would you do it again? It's a very different atmosphere than a strictly pastoral scene would evoke. I like it a lot.
