Autumn Changes

A smattering of nature pics from past months, starting with catching this butterfly lingering long enough for a phone pic.



Really liked this carpet of leaves from this tree on an early morning walk.



Our foliage views have been pretty spotty. In example the cluster above -- two full red, one full yellow, some still green and two others who went brown so quickly that the yellow was there and gone.



The tree above caught my attention because I loved the color shadings. Also it looked like the tree decided to get frosted tips while the one below went for the full dye job.



The tree with frosted tips went through a rapid change to become all goldenhair surprise.

Gorgeous butterfly. Have you gotten many in recent years? We haven't, where I live.

We saw about the same amount where we are. We have never seen very many, though we've spotted more on walks where there are more wildflowers or commercial crops.
