I took pictures around the yard today. These are from the flowerbeds and house yard.
Some tulips have flower buds in the tulip bed.

The daffodil bed is in full bloom.

One of the pink daffodils is blooming.

This is the space in the parking lot where the old car was. Someone hauled it away recently, so more of the parking lot is open now.

Daffodils are blooming under the mulberry tree in the house yard.

These are double daffodils.

This is the log garden.

Different colors of grape hyacinths are blooming under the log garden.

This is the patch of lilies-of-the-valley. I trimmed weeds and raked leaves off it today.

Lilies-of-the-valley are sprouting.

Then when I came around the corner of the house, I saw birds and they didn't fly away immediately. A dark-eyed junco is scavenging under the hopper feeder. We have the kind that are sooty on top and white underneath.

A male house finch perches in the forest garden. You can see the sun shining on his pink face.

Several birds gather in the forest garden. They are probably sparrows and house finches.

A hazy moon rises over the east edge of the yard, between the orchard to the north (left) and the back-forty to the south (right).
