I believe this large moth is a "Hummingbird Moth" Hemaris diffinis. It was zipping around stopping only momentarily for a sip of nectar. Phone cameras are amazing!
I saw one of these guys a bit over a week ago! I barely got a shot of it, but they're so neat! Great picture. I love it in combination with the bumblebee; you can really see what its colors are mimicking.
