Wisconsin Dells Pt 1

I took a road trip with friends last month to see fall foliage. Our first stop was the Wisconsin Dells where we took a boat trip to the upper dells.





One of the things that makes a pretty sight are the leaves in the water, looking like petals.



The first stop on the Dells boat tour was Witches Gulch, which really made the day. It was full of great rock formations and views.

I’m particularly struck by your choice of precipitous and dramatic camera angles.

(And I saw what you did there with your icon choice; surely a Falcon befits a nature comm. And now I’m imagining Sam gleefully zooming through the Gulch in 3D.)

For as many times as I've been through the Dells, I've never actually explored them. Seeing these photos, I really feel that I'm missing out.

Love the rock formations- we have similar ones here due to combinations of granite and sandstone.
