This passage is almost as narrow as it looks.







Another stop on the boat tour was a set of rocks where a dog would jump between them. This formation was used to demonstrate the first quick shutter speed photography. The inventor had his son leap across the gap and took 17 photos of him before there was a (relatively clear) shot. The photo was then used as a tourism ad and until relatively recently tour guides would make the leap. Now there is a group of trained dogs who do so several times a day.

Yes! I couldn't quite eliminate the tour group from the second photo but they do provide a perspective on the height and size of the surroundings.

Yup, they do several jumps a day for visitors.

....I think I might have gone on this EXACT boat tour. With the dog and everything! It was like...gosh...over 10 years ago...honestly, maybe closer to 15.... :)

I imagine you did! The tour company has been in business a long time and this stop has been part of it for decades.
