Freezy frost

The guys came early to clean our windows this morning.

We were still sipping our coffee in bed when the brush plonked onto the first window.

They use a high pressure hose and brush system meaning they don't have to climb ladders which is undoubtedly a good thing for safety on a tall Victorian house like ours.

It was bitter cold out there again with the temps well below freezing as they have been all week and a very hard frost.

Their water spray (they use de-ionised specially treated soft water) was freezing on contact and creating wonderful frost pictures.

I had to wait a while to get pics as the light was wrong but once the cloud bubbled up, they worked!

It's there if people only look but I suppose it's where you find out if you have any photographic skills. They gave me my first camera when I was 6 and I've been at it ever since.

I had to work at the shots, but the weather did eventually help me out with some cloud.

It can make such pretty patterns! Difficult to photograph though depending on the light at the time.

I had to wait on the light but it was cold enough (-6c) that the frost patterns weren't going anywhere in a hurry! :o)
