The bird feeder had a visit from grey partridges the other day. I've accidentally startled them before--the sparrows toss seed down from the bird feeder and they don't care for corn--but it was so polite of them to use the sidewalk :-D

LOL it certainly tells a story :-) The marks went all the way down the public sidewalk and down the back alley.

I could see those bird tracks daintily speckling the snow as a fabric print or stationery motif.

We get so many animal tracks, but none as clear as these. The last time I saw nice clear tracks like this it was a skunk.
