Sunday was beautifully warm for the middle of November so
garienos and I took advantage and walked along the pier. This is the first time, since I moved here three months ago, that I have had time to do something like that! How time flies ... It'll be Christmas next!

Date: 2011-11-22 01:27 pm (UTC)I don't think we ever got to know what it was, it was just some person eating snake-thing in a BBC SciFi drama series in I grew into my teens with in the late 70s and early 80s. While Stargate's planets look mostly like Canadian pine forests BBC planets used to look like Chalk Quarries (because they were!). Happy Days.
I wasn't into Stargate when I used to go to conventions with my teenage heroes although in later times there were definitely stargate actors there. Not sure who they were (didn't even know about the show at the time) but I translated some hieroglyphs in art on papyrus they were getting actors to sign on. Mostly from Nefertiti's tomb if I remember rightly (and yes the Egyptian was why I got dragged into Stargate - they do occasionally speak it in early seasons).
