When we first moved in nine years back it didn't blossom because the previous owners hadn't looked after it.

We got the tree surgeons in and the next year it rewarded us like this and has done so ever since. :o)

It's beautiful!

I visited England (Norwich) last week and saw so many lovely cherry trees in bloom. It's going to take weeks until they start doing the same here in Sweden.
