I remember reading a modern fairytale featuring a black (in both forms) Swan Prince, who was implied to be Aboriginal: he came from “a land so distant (from the author’s default Slavic setting) that even the stars were different.”

There is also the movie "Black Swan" with Natalie Portman, about a ballerina who is preparing to play both main roles in the swan ballet and is gradually losing her mind.

Yes, it is. There's a road right next to it, so apparently they had to reinforce the shore adjacent to it.

They have already managed to get used to the presence of people and hardly react at all to someone who tries to point his lens at them.

Yes on the agressive. In fact, where I am they are a native bird, and you have to be careful not to let small children get close to groups of them. Especially if they think you have food.
