This big and scary^{small and not scary at all} spider was discovered on our ceiling. It was my macro lens that made it big and scary ;)

Yes! Actually, spiders have a lot of them, but it doesn't immediately catch your eye ;)

I have a photo of a similarly-tiny spider that I took a decade ago, its little black eyes look almost like a crown. (It's on an apple near the stem, so the scale is very evident. I left that apple in the tree.)

I don't recall! It was at s pick-your-own orchard, so I may have been about to pull his perch off of the tree.
