Jupiter and Paintbrush Sky
Jun. 4th, 2026 11:35 am
Another recent sunset, loved the blurry painted nature of the clouds.

Although I couldn't get both to focus in the same shot, the picture with the two squiggles of light are Jupiter on the left and Venus on the right. The two were particularly close together in the sky this week, which made getting Jupiter in focus a lot easier than a few weeks ago. (They were also lower in the sky on this night).
After several attempts, got the camera to zoom in and focus properly to come up with a view of Jupiter.
