Irises

We spent last weekend visiting friends in Minnesota and on Sunday we went to the Landscape Arboretum. Some of the irises were still in bloom, along with the roses and the peonies. Yes, I took lots of pictures. I couldn't help it. Everything was so beautiful. It was a wonderfully relaxing day. Here are a few of the lovely irises we saw. :D

Oh, that last blue one is beautiful. There's always something so oddly striking about blue flora and fauna. :]

I agree. They aren't as common so when you see them, they really stand out. :D

I have that first Iris and I HAD the 2nd/3rd Iris, but I inadvertantly gave them all away when I was digging them up to split and transplant.}:/
