Awesome pictures! I especially love the yew bark--it looks like someone spilled a rainbow of watercolors down it.

Thank you! I hadn't realised about the rainbow but you're correct! I photographed the yew bark when it was wet from rain, which had darkened the colours but I was still surprised to see blue tones in the black (and that was with my eyes, not as an artefact from my camera).

Thank you! I'm very lucky with the variety of landscapes around here, although the flat bits tend to fill up with water (hence the predominance of hill images, heh). I'm still wondering if the tree tangled itself due to species and available light and wind direction, or whether it also had human intervention. I don't know enough about non-native ornamental species to deduce the answer, so I can only guess.

Thank you. Nature does all the work while I just point my camera and press a button. I love corvids. They're such endlessly entertaining birds, with their curiosity.
