How embarrassing, I forgot to track the account and didn't see I had comments... thanks for the comment! We were lucky with the winter as in it wasn't really rotten, just bland and boring - but I'll take that any time over extreme weather, snow and wetness which happened elsewhere! On the other hand, we were already having our extreme temperatures last week... 20°C for two days in March, with nearly freezing degrees at night. Hottest days ever in this month since the temperatures are measured hereabouts... and plant life is not happy.

Thanks! But they do winter inside, though they would have survived outside this year, where we had no winter to speak of.

I hope the snow has now gone away for you! We're having a crazy non-winter this year, the only day of snow was three days ago after two of the hottest spring days ever measured in this region, with 20°C. I did miss the snow, but I rather have none at all than far too much, as it happened for so many of you this last winter.
