common_nature | Backyard videos

I posted these in my own journal a couple of weeks ago, and just realized maybe members here might enjoy them, too. :)

I went to my in-laws' when Hurricane Earl was coming (we're on the coast, but they're inland) and one of the reasons I love going there is the nature that surrounds them. Being a birdwatcher, and with they having feeders and all kinds of flowers, there were birds there all the time, but they also have a small pond that had FROGS in it (I adore frogs), and another little visitor. I got footage of all of it.

At one point while I was standing there, my father-in-law came out and I said to him in what was probably a dreamy voice, "Your backyard is a magical place."

I could spend hours there on a day like that.
