Art from that young crow I rescued

A couple years ago, I was at work in the basement of a nice house when I realized that there was a bird trapped in one of the deep, narrow window wells. It was a juvenile crow, and I posted the story and my snapshots here.
A few weeks ago, I found those photos on my phone and remembered I had meant to use them for art. These two pieces are the result, and I thought some of you here might enjoy seeing them. Each is about 6 x 9". I used carbon pencil, pastel pencil, wash, and touches of blue and white watercolor, on a pretty bluish-gray Stonehenge (pure cotton fiber) paper.
