Yes! They come up just before the aquilegias, which we have in abundance, so it's a nice little "taster" after the daffodils and before the big spring bloom.
Thank you! It wasn't easy - I had the affections of a large tuxie cat to contend with. Not that the affections are normally unwelcome. Just when I'm trying to hold a large macro lens steady.
They are rather glorious, aren't they? I'm always pleased that they stick around for so long, too. They look like the sort of thing that would only last a day or so and these have been out for a week.
