Wow!! How did you get so close? I had a goose only a foot away from me yesterday, but I think it would have scuttled off had I made a move for a photo.
I didn't. I took the photo from my porch, the squirrel wasn't that far away, but I used the 55-250 lens on my canon rebel. The squirrel was probably about 12 feet away from me. I have had the area squirrels very close before though, some of them aren't very skittish around us. This one heard me and looked up instead of running away and stayed there for several photos.
