Youngest and I spent some time together quietly bird-watching after we filled up the peanut feeder on Saturday, and were rewarded with some very close-up views of a bright-eyed blue tit.

That's such a fantastic photo! Blue tits are my second favourite of the birds who visit my feeders. They're so cute and energetic.

Long-tailed tits because they're even more adorable than blue tits. And because they look like golf balls on sticks :-)

Ha, yes! I love how they all tumble in together when they come to feed, too. It's a visitation of adorable fluff.
