I was sitting on the grass when this White Wagtail (Motacilla alba) decided that the path less than two meters from me was a great place to hunt for insects. Click to enlarge:

Lovely shot! I don't think I have ever managed to photograph one as they are usually too far away and too fast!

Thank you! As you say, wagtails are usually far too fast to get photographs but this one was nice enough to stand still for several seconds right in front of me!
