There's a very small patch of dirt in my back yard, where the paving meets the house wall. I seem to have developed mushrooms, beloved of the snails. Behind the cut, a photo of my wee autumn mushrooms.




They're about an inch and a half and one inch high. You can just make out a new cap under the soil. Snails have made everything shiny with their trails.

They are very cool shrooms. And such awesome slime trails, too!

The snails don't seem to eat the mushrooms. They just seem to mass in their vicinity overnight, as I rarely see any during the day.
