UK: two fungi and a lichen

common_natureAs Monday seems to have become my nature diary day.... I managed to photograph a couple of speckled wood butterflies this week but as I included a link to other people's images last week I won't post them. The ones that got away this week were all red admirals, which I see at this time of year inexplicably fluttering around the eaves of buildings.
Lichen, possibly Candelariella reflexa.

Date: 2012-09-18 08:40 pm (UTC)When I move, I always check to make sure there are accessible woods within walking distance. Trees are almost a necessity for me. I also chose my current home partly because I can see trees from ALL the windows, heh. I'm very lucky. I hope you have many other non-woodsy compensations in your living circumstances. :-)
