Post Storm Sunset
Apr. 30th, 2026 01:12 pm
We had some severe storms come through our area this week, and had tornado sirens going off both in the morning and evening. Luckily the first set of storms had a mild tornado farther south of us. The second set had a potential formation going over us but luckily nothing actually came together and we only got a bit of hail.

Cemetery in the snow
Jan. 5th, 2026 05:17 pmI went to the cemetery today to take photos of all the snow we've been getting, and it was gorgeous. Even better, the snow came out - only for about fifteen minutes but it was magical

Jan. 4th, 2026 09:06 pmTonight I happened to glance out the window and spotted a colorful sunset. So I grabbed my camera and ran outside to take pictures. This gets me started on my goal of taking and posting photos at least once per season. \o/

Clouds of various kinds
Dec. 6th, 2020 11:32 amSo this might take a little imagination, but when I saw this cloud formation last night and went out to take pictures it struck me as a dragon's head by the trees with smoke coming off its body. And the "smoke" in the picture below just looked so impressionistic, like smears of paint on a canvas.
