asenathwaiteYesterday the babies spent a while sitting in the shade of the madrone with their beaks open, possibly to cool themselves.

asenathwaiteI live in the greater Seattle area, and we have a huge crow population (15,000+ roost at UW Bothell). A few weeks ago I left a bucket of water in our backyard, and a pair of them has started visiting us.
They also like our bird feeder.
