These are Leicestershire longwools. They're a rare breed these days but one of our local farmers is into rare breed sheep:

And on a wall on the way home, Spring appears to have sprung. Not a native-  I think it may be Japanese quince.

The flowers are all delicately pretty. I think you're right about the possible quince. I wonder if the (non-snowdrop) white ones are, too? I'm not familiar with the flower beyond a Pinterest photo or two. The shape is a little different, but that might be because they're a bit more open. Pretty, anyways.
