This is a wide view of the white garden at the southwest corner of the driveway. The yuccas are bright green with snowdrops scattered around them.

The catkins hold the male flowers. The female flowers are elsewhere on the bush, which I have not managed to find.

Snowdrops have naturalized all over the east end of the savanna. I didn't plant any there, they just showed up.

This is one of the bigger mats that the snowdrops have formed.

Looking over the prairie garden toward the west, it seems mostly brown, but there are daffodils sprouting in some places.

Hiding in the middle of this brush, slightly to the right side, is a bird. A glimpse of ruddy belly suggests that it is a robin.

This mossy branch lies alongside the south part of the trail around the prairie garden. The most common moss in my yard is yellow-green and shaggy. There is also a darker emerald one that is more velvety in texture.

This large, mossy log also lies along the south path.
