We had a bunch of muskrat sightings over the summer. There has been a mating pair in our lake and they are still active as we can usually see one floating in the water most days.

By chance I was up early to get to the grocery store (an effort that was worth it for the empty aisles and checkout area) and saw a rather interesting sunrise. I've posted in the past month or so a contrail sunset. Apparently the jets have been very active because not only have we spotted them almost every day, but this morning it was clear they had been out at dawn. The sky was covered with cloudy streaks which went on so far it made the sky seem like a bowl. ( Read more... )
